Happy Mother’s Day Hobbles! This is the first post of yours I have been able to read all the way through in a long time. I thought maybe you were trying to get rid of me! BTW I am a finalist for the comment of the week or something at Byronic Man’s page. Could you pop over a give me a vote if it’s not too much trouble. I’ve never made it to this stage before. Thanks!
sure, do you have a link?
No. What’s odd is that Mother’s Day doesn’t come after Labor Day.
Good point.
I haz them!
good points?
Yes.
The irony of Mother’s Day is that the one thing you really want – peace and quiet – is the one thing your kids don’t want to give you!
Yes. I seriously wish I had every Mother’s day weekend in a hotel by myself. It is wrong, I know, but it’s true.
I think you probably just voiced every mother’s greatest desire.
Lol
Completely not wrong. Everyone has asked if I had a great time. Yes, I got a nap.
Red.
That is wonderful! I am very happy for you.
mothers day here has long gone but i always get pressies and usually a visit then the day after its back to normal can you help with this lol
We don’t really do anything for the holiday. I would suggest sneaking out and buying yourself lots of chocolate. That’s my plan. 😉
Good point!
Thanks.
I’m certain it’s by design.
Yeah, some kind of twisted conspiracy…
LMFAO! Only YOU would put those two together.
Lol, I think most moms will now. 😉
I think men have allocated days for holidays and special days since forever! They did this one by design. Isn’t it ironic that they can never remember their wedding anniversary though, or is that also by design? 🙂
I’m not sure about the wedding thing. I forget ours too. 😉
It is the kids that make the moms go crazy, so it all ties in.
Totally
Lets see . . . my mom drove me batty . . . I drive my wife & kids batty . . . gee, I think it fits!
Yep, I think it fits for all of us in one way or another.
lets see . . . whut wuz that post I did about everyone going insane? . . . LOL! It begins early!
