This week’s Trifecta challenge is back to normal.
Bluest sky
Gentle breeze
Fluffy clouds
Waving trees
Rippling pond
Chirping song
Buzzing bees
Humming along
Colorful flowers
Dandelion wisp
Swaying grass
Butterfly kiss
Spider web
Art with string
Just another
Normal spring
Wow, I kept waiting for something dark to get inserted in there. Maybe I should look closer between the lines – or stop overanalyzing.
Lol, I thought I should lighten the mood a little. 😉
This is like a breath of spring.
It’s fluffy, like a dyed pink Easter chick.
Sorry, I’m not in the springtime mood anymore. It was a nice change from the usually dark Trifecta’s though.
Made me remember growing up on a farm as a kid. I could almost smell the cow manure.
Better than a chicken farm… those things really stink.
Yeah, I’ve smelled a few of those too.
Horses aren’t bad. Kind of an earthy smell. A few cows are okay. But a big cow farm, like they have in the central valley is nasty. But not as bad as the chickens. I guess that is why we have the Chick-Fil-A franchise… because chickens stink.
I think you have solved the “why we eat animal’s” mystery. I guess that could also apply to cannibalism though.
I am sure it does… somehow…
That is probably why people invented showers. They didn’t want to die.
Bathing is not a new invention… well, in Europe it is… people didn’t bathe in Europe during the dark and middle ages. Well, the royalty might have once a year or so, but…
That’s why Bloody Mary started her thing right?
The world lost a great lady when she decided to give up being Queen and become a beverage.
She makes people a lot happier now.
She could have done that by cutting off less heads.
I don’t think “making people happy” was her goal. Didn’t she need them for her baths?
We forgot hogs…
I never forget hogs.
Beautiful…Diane
Thanks! I love spring and it was about time to do a “light” trifecta. 😉
You wove beauty with words.
That was a beautiful compliment. Thank you.
I like the melodic flow of this poem. I already love spring, and this poem expresses it’s beauty well.
Thank you. I love spring too. Simple wonder. 😉
Nice, light and springy LOL! It just bounced happily along. Loved it!
Thanks! It is a sunny side up one. 😉
Fantastic!
Thanks!
Spring’s my favorite for just that reason!
Simple pleasures. 😉
Very nice. Loved the flow.
Thank you Lumdog!
This is beautiful. I kept waiting for death and destruction, or at least some grieving, but this was just beauty through and through. I’m happier having read it. Thanks for linking up.
Point taken. I guess I have been writing a lot of dark Trifecta’s lately. I’ll try to keep things light for a while. I’m glad you liked it.
